Minutes of Previous Meeting
Agreed.
Meeting 8th April 2005
Peter Swallow confirmed that he would carry out a presentation on the web site at the next Business Club Meeting on Friday 15th April. Peter confirmed that the web site was near completion. Peter and James will be managing and overseeing the web site.
A number of people have already signed up to receive the Newsletter. Coleen will provide a laptop for Peter at the meeting on 15th April 2005.
The next meeting on the 15th April 2005, people will be asked to arrive at 7.30am for a 7.45am start. There will be a fee of £5.00, which will include breakfast. Coleen will chair this meeting.
James Pinchbeck will be contacting the Retford Times in order to place an advert for the Retford Business Club.
Coleen is to remind Retford Police about the meeting and confirm their attendance.
Siobhan will be contacting GNER with a view to getting their attendance at the July meeting.
Siobhan or James will be contacting the Tourist Board. It was confirmed that Roger Flack is the Press Officer for the Retford Business Club.
Michelle from the council will be invited to give a presentation about Recruitment in respect of the Robin Hood airport.
Angela will be serving breakfast during the break.
There will be a choice of sandwiches available.
Concerns were raised in respect of Gary Throw and the constitution for the club. Agreed that this will need to be discussed at next committee meeting.
Any Other Business
Coleen to sort out a suitable date to hold the proposed Summer Barbeque and have some dates available for the next committee meeting.
